Indore: In a major relief for thousands of candidates, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has made MCA and MSc graduates eligible for recruitment on teaching posts in engineering colleges. The relief has come for the candidates after almost six long years of protest. Several candidates had lost their jobs after AICTE debarred them from teaching. Making amendments in the rules, AICTE has released a fresh gazette notification permitting candidates, who have finished ME or MTech or PhD in Computer Science/IT after acquiring MCA, MSc in maths, physics, electronics, computer science and allied subjects, to take up teaching jobs.
