Komma Ujwal, an engineering graduate from the city, performed a feat at the Pushkara ghat here on Sunday with an aim to get an entry into the Guinness Book of World Records. The 40-minute-long event was witnessed by three gazetted officers and shot with three cameras. Hundreds of people from the city gathered at the venue and witnessed the performance. A champion in karate and boxing, Ujwal relaxed on his back on the floor and allowed a Royal Enfield motorcycle to make 100 rounds on his abdomen. As the officials of the Guinness Records insisted on conducting the feat in the presence of at least three gazetted officers, the youngster invited superintendent of the government hospital Ramesh Kishore, municipal health officer M.V.R. Murthy and assistant director of the Animal Husbandry department R.K. Rao to witness the proceedings. Father of Ujwal, Komma Srinivasa Rao, the corporator of the 21st division, said that his son had won several medals in karate and boxing and exuded confidence that he would get an entry into the prestigious book of world records very soon. Mayor Pantam Rajani Seshasai and local leaders attended as special invitees and congratulated Ujwal on his achievement.
