Eligibility Criteria for UPSC Engineering Service Exam 2017
Educational Qualification: The interested candidates should have a degree in Engineering from the UGC approved university across the country or abroad in subject specified in the notification for various posts.
Note: The candidates who want to apply for Indian Naval Armament Service (Electronics Engineering Posts) and Indian Radio Regulatory Service Gr ‘A’ should have an M.Sc. degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject.
Age Limit: The candidates applying for the posts should be between the age group 21 to 30 years. Some relaxations are there for reserved categories, which are mentioned in the complete notification.
Selection Procedure for UPSC Engineering Service Exam 2017
The selection of the candidates will be done on the performance in Written Exam including Preliminary Exam and Mains Exam. The aspirants who will qualify both Prelims and Mains are required to appear for Personality Test. On the basis of performance in three phases, the final selection of the candidates will be done for various engineering services.

The candidates are needed to apply Online only by using the website www.upsconline.nic.in before the last date i.e October 26, 2016 till 18.00 Hours after which the link will be disabled. The interested aspirants applying for the posts are required to pay the application fee Rs.200/‐ (Rupees Two hundred only) either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of State Bank of India/State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit card.
