  1. Dr. Ashutosh Mishra says:

Regarding ph.d registration….sir, your preparing norms for ph.d admission no doubt is good but I would like to draw your attention at following suggestions.
1.entrance test mainly test the academic excellence but for good quality of research, innovative ideas and discovery other qualities like curiosity, interest, passion, scientific temperament, hard work, devotion, zeal to do work for betterment for society and nation etc are also required.
    2. In India still the U.G,P.G syllabus and pattern of of study not uniform so that test pattern flavours to someone and hard for others. In such case Tata institute of fundamental research, mumbai pattern for ph.d may consider.
3.my suggestion ugc make a talent search screening committee at all India level and it invite application from anyone those want to registration for ph.d, such candidate directly send their resume, a brief notes about their interest, problem on that they want to do work, earlier preparations, present performance regarding work, its impact etc. now committee if found the candidate have natural zeal for research, recommend them for ph.d in any university which suitable for candidates.
4.simplify the PhD course mainly focusing on good and innovative research.
